The exhibition titled “Gypsies under the Russia's sky” took place in the Duma of Russian Federation in 1998. Beside Gypsy cycle of canvases there were also exhibited 65 reproductions dedicated to the history of Roms, their dress, arts and crafts. The catalogue was available for visitors. The presentation was led by the director of Gypsy theatre “Romen” Nikolay Slichenko, parliament's leaders and heads of Gypsy cultural autonomy. Then the exhibition was supported by the concert of famous Gypsy musicians. The whole event was reviewed on Russian TV.
